My tracking link says my package was delivered but I can’t find it. What should I do?Updated 3 months ago
If your tracking page from Canada Post or Canpar shows "Delivered," but you can’t locate your package, follow these steps:
Step 1: Let’s try to find your package!
✔️ Check your delivery location:
On your Canada Post tracking page, if it says “Delivered to your community mailbox, parcel locker, or apt./condo mailbox,” make sure to check these areas.
For Canpar deliveries, check whether the tracking mentions a specific drop-off location.
✔️ Check your mailbox anyway:
Even if the tracking just says “Delivered” without specifying where, it’s worth checking your mailbox—details may be missing.
✔️ Look for a delivery slip:
A slip may have been left in your mailbox or at your door with details for pickup at a nearby location.
✔️ Check safe drop areas:
Packages are sometimes left in safe spots like under decks, behind garbage bins, or near back doors.
Step 2: Contact the carrier for assistance
Canada Post: 1-866-607-6301 (Mon–Fri, 7 am–11 pm ET / Sat-Sun, 9 am–9 pm ET) or visit their website.
Canpar: 1-800-387-9335 (Mon–Fri, 8 am–8 pm ET) or via live chat (Mon–Fri, 10 am–7 pm ET).
